Mahindra and Mahindra has recently ventured into electric vehicle segment with new name and badge. Mahindra Electric will focus solely on the growth of company in electric segment. Mahindra had previously launched electric vehicle in form of XUV400 EV. Mahindra XUV400 EV had garnered interest of many motor enthusiast.
Mahindra Electric has launched two Electric Vehicle with intention of solidifying its stand in EV segment. This Vehicle are Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9e.
Mahindra BE 6

BE 6 is will have two variants in terms of battery pack – 59 kWh and 79 kWh. BE 6 59 kWh is available in market while higher battery pack variant with 79 kWh will be available in market expectantly from January 2025.

Will it be Indian Tesla?
Both the car are brimming with highest level of technology Indian roads has seen so far. From point of view of affordability, if Mahindra Electric upholds quality than than it has potential of not only being Indian Tesla but also disrupting international market for Electric vehicles. However, it is bound to face stiff competition from another India company TATA motors with launch of Harrier EV.
